Hello! I'm Heather and together with my husband and our 10-year-old daughter, we created Survivor Sentimentals. The inspiration behind Survivor Sentimentals is twofold. First, on a personal level, my husband and I are burn survivors. In addition, my father lost his battle with pancreatic cancer in 2008, and we have many family members who are living with, have survived, and unfortunately passed from various diseases. Second, on a professional level, I work in patient advocacy and focus on incorporating expert patient advocate voice into clinical trials. Together, my personal and professional interests collided to create Survivor Sentimentals.
